Welcome!
The Janesville Country Club has the distinction of being the sixth country club to be started in the United States, the second to be started in the Midwest, and the first to be started in Wisconsin. Sired by a Scot, Alexander Galbraith, the club began with balls and clubs directly imported from Scotland. The Janesville Country Club was the site of the 1994 Wisconsin State Golf Association Men's Amateur Championship. Janesville Country Club was also proud to host the 1997 U.S. Open Qualifying Round. Today, after over one hundred years of tradition, the Janesville Country Club continues to offer championship golf and outstanding facilities and services.
We know that our members enjoy being challenged by our beautiful and well maintained 18 hole golf course. We invite you to experience the challenge of the Janesville Country Club. The club offers a full driving range with chipping and sand practice facilities. Our heated Olympic size swimming pool provides a diving well and is adjoined by a heated children's pool. After a swim, enjoy a relaxed meal by the pool with poolside service from the Trophy Room menu.
