Junior Golf

The goals of Junior Golf are as follows:

  • Promote Junior Golf activity
  • Teach the rules and etiquette of golf
  • Secure instruction, practice, and playing privileges
  • Establish handicaps and organize tournaments

Junior Golf meets on Thursday and Friday mornings beginning in June and ending in late July.  We ask that Juniors arrive 10 minutes in advance of each session and sign in.

Junior Golf Instruction Times

AgeLesson Time

10 - 138:15 – 9:00am
8 - 99:00 – 9:30am
5 - 79:30 – 10:00am

The Junior Certification Program for putting, chipping, and irons will be used to test the Juniors skill level and demonstrate growth in these areas.

Similar to the past, we will be asking parents to volunteer to help out a couple of times during the summer.  We will need help at the check in table, walking along with practice, and monitoring play after the lessons.  Parents of 5 to 7 year old golfers must accompany their child on a one-to-one basis.  Parents of beginners are still required to walk along with the groups after the lessons. Your support of the Junior Golf Program is very important.
